Pre-Calculus Tutoring

Many students find pre-calculus to be one of the most difficult courses they take in high school. At the Study Hut we work with students to help them develop a more positive outlook on the subject. We find that the reason most students struggle with pre-calculus is because they are lacking knowledge of the more basic mathematical principles. We work to get the students up to speed with basics, such as the unit circle and trigonometric functions, so that they can become successful math students.

English Tutoring: This Poetry Stuff is Tuff!

From grade school through high school there are those English teachers who assign their kids to write poems.

Students always dread this. This must be because when kids think of poetry, they think of rhyming. They think of all the rhyming poems they heard when they were little that seem so lame now that they’ve got cell phones. They’re busy texting their Bff Josh, amirite?

SAT Tutoring and Scheduling

We tutor the SAT in small groups (1-3 people per tutor) from 7-9pm every Monday and Wednesday.  We offer one-on-one SAT training, though packaged rates are not available.  Space is limited due to demand for both groups.  Fill out the contact form for inquiries and rates.
