Redondo Beach History Tutoring

In order to understand the future it is important to research the past. United States history is certainly interesting but many students are challenged to remember dates, names, places and small details that had huge historical impacts. Our tutors gear study sessions to fit the need of students within the Redondo Union High School District. Tutors will help students to understand historical events, connect important people and dates and draw connections between the past and the present. Challenging students to explain historical events in their own words will dramatically increase their fact retention. Our tutors cover a wide range of topics varying from the Constitution and Civil War battles to the Presidency and major social movements. We will assist in writing well written historical papers, analyzing documents for AP tests, reviewing key ideas and enhancing study skills. Critical thinking and analyzing data is a very important skill, especially as students begin taking the SAT and preparing for college. United States History provides the perfect platform to improve these skills.
