		<description>I do agree that homework is easy points and crucial in getting good grades, but I also believe it is more than that. When students ask &quot;are we ever going to use this?&quot;, the answer should be yes. There is a reason why we go to school and get an education; grades are just the superficial. In order for the world to progress, individuals must progress by gaining knowledge. The more you study, even on topics that are uninteresting to you, the stronger your brain gets. How will you ever know if you want to be a biologist or a historian unless you are exposed to the basics of each? Doing the seemingly mundane homework is actually very important for your future, your capacity to retain knowledge, and the future of the human race.   :)
