SCHOOL’S BACK IN SESSION

Some of you are already back…

Some of you are enjoying the last DAY of summer.

Either way, there is enjoyment still to be had. Going back to school seems like a bummer, but really, it’s mostly a good time.

The first week can be a bit of joke academically… It’s a great time to figure out your new surroundings and catch up with some of your school friends. You want to know where to chill for snack and lunch as well as figuring out the locker situation. For others its a clean slate or, more time to goof off publicly.

The second part is the shopping spree. It’s a spree simply because everything somehow becomes school related when you’re cruisin’ down the aisle at Staples, Office Depot, Costco or even the local Ralphs. I know that platinum blond wool rug at Costco won’t be needed in class, but I would sure find myself studying comfortably. Buying a million cush-grip pens and six folders with iTunes displays doesn’t always do the trick–many teachers will dish out their own shopping lists. Work diligently, because the real spree happens in college.

Hi, my name is Nora and I’m a junior at Mira Costa and I cannot tell you how much Study Hut helps me. We just started school and especially for junior year grades are really important and the classes are extra hard.
I’m not a huge fan of school in general and despite this, on a daily basis I tend to spend as much time at Study Hut as I do at school. My load is pretty heavy this year, with two AP and two honors classes and hard teachers; Rob and SP make it seem like cake.
Overall it’s just fun to hang out at the Hut, the kitchen is loaded with tons of candy, chips, crackers, and soda, they have an adorable chameleon named Donald, and the plants and music just give the office a great vibe.
    ok bye
